Brief Info
On 24 March 1999, I, Kok-Wah Lee, finished my last exam paper for B.Eng.(Hons.)(Electrical)(Malaya) in Electrical Engineering from University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia. Then, I joined Faculty of Engineering (FOE), Multimedia University, Melaka, Malaysia, as a research assistant on 17 May 1999.  Since 21 July 1999, I became a tutor at Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET) and held a tutorship from Multimedia University (MMU) to further my master’s degree by research (M.Eng.Sc.) in Telecommunications Engineering commencing from 19 October 1999. Time flew after the 3rd millennium countdown in year 2000. MMU awarded me the M.Eng.Sc. on 05 June 2003 with the official convocation ceremony on 24 July 2004.

After sometime in the course of locating and registering a postgraduate research degree towards a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, the registration was done on 27 May 2004. My Ph.D. research title was Data Compression and Cryptology in Multimedia Communications in the fields of information security generally and key/password security particularly. Nevertheless, due to my dissatisfaction over the MMU bureaucratic procedures, I cancelled the final submission of my research thesis, which had been revised and had come to version 3.0. Thus, I had ended my postgraduate research study as ABD (All but Dissertation) holder.

After 31 October 2014, I ended my roles as unofficial scholar and an official lecturer within the job category of academia @ (at) MMU-FET handled the research and teaching tasks. The teaching tasks included the FET undergraduate lectures, tutorials and lab demonstrations. In addition, the consultative and administrative tasks were now outside my job scope as well. Now the situation is obligation-wise occasionally, till 31Jan2015 the First Sigma at every 3-month cycle for its Statistical Standard Deviation or Number of Sigma. Generally in the past, I taught subjects in computing, computer, and communications at UTSB/UTPL-MMU FET; and particularly, I taught C language, C++ language, and data structures & algorithms.

Since 18 February 2008, after about 28 months of preparation, I have registered a business brand/name called “Xpreeli Enterprise” in Malaysia to become a Sole Proprietor or Self-Proprietor, generally, Creative Worker, particularly, and Information Engineer, specifically, to manage, license, and trade my intellectual properties (IP), especially patents, copyrights, and confidential secret information (or simply secret info). For all the three types of IP, they can also be pre-doubled and categorized under my individual portfolio. Meanwhile in the Internet niche, my registered domain name is “www.xpreeli.com” via the web hosting services provided by Yahoo!, which is an e-company (euphony: 讲赔你) founded in United States. A second domain name is “www.zcie2176.com” acts as a web pointer or dynamic data stream. A third domain name may be in the path, to be called “www.?????.com”.

In short, at the past K.W. Lee had three special public identities: full-time academic lecturer at MMU FET, part-time Nanyang author, and part-time information engineer doing home based business.
